Portintax Beach Ibiza – Portinatx is a great beach in the north of the island of Ibiza in a prime location in a natural environment surrounded by pine forests all along the coast. Located near the town of the same name, Cala Portinatx is in a narrow bay that protects the beach from rough weather, winds and currents. Portinatx consists of several small coves with common characteristics, such as toast-coloured gravel, a steep slope towards the sea and waters clean and quiet. Although the inner bay is well protected from the currents, the outer area of Portinatx experiences ideal weather for water sports which appreciate the presence of wind for sailing and kitesurfing. In addition, Portinatx is one of the most remote areas free from mass tourism and nightclubs, so the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. Portinatx is one of the most remote resorts, from the main towns of Ibiza, with more than thirty kilometres from the city of Ibiza Town. To reach Portinatx, just drive to the north of the island of Ibiza to San Juan and then follow the road directions. There is easy parking near the beach, where you can also catch the bus, if you decide to use public transport. You could also try another great beach at Sa Cala.
