Anfield Stadium Liverpool – Anfield is a stadium for football located in the eponymous district in the city of Liverpool in Merseyside, England, United Kingdom . Their address is Anfield Road Liverpool L4 0TH. The stadium was built in 1884, and was the home of Everton Football Club until 1892, when they left the stadium after a disagreement over money. Since then the stadium has been the home of Liverpool Football Club. It is an elite class stadium according to UEFA criteria, and has hosted numerous international matches at the professional level, including meetings of the England football team. The building also was used during the Euro 1996 competition. The stadium comprises four stands: Spion Kop , Main Stand, Centenary Stand and Anfield Road. The record attendance of 61,905 spectators was established in 1952 in a match in the FA Cup between Liverpool FC and Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club. Installation of seats was made following the recommendations of the so-called Taylor Report.
